March 7th 2011: I have had the opportunity to hunt at Dakota Ringneck ranch with my son and a group of friends. Both experiences were phenomenal and exceeded my expectations in every facet of the hunt. The facilities and hunting land are some of the the best that I have experienced in my 10 years of hunting in South Dakota. Ken and Ellen, as well as their family, make you feel right at home and ensure an exciting and safe hunting experience. I look forward to a long relationship with all the folks at Dakota Ringneck over the next several decades. R.W.

March 7th 2011: Our group of 12 guys is going back in 2011 for our 5th consecutive year to Dakota Ringneck. Warm, attentive owners, competent friendly guides, a very comfortable spotless lodge, super food and great staff! Plentiful birds...Our group has tried other places,but since we found Ken's place everyone wants to keep coming back. Doyle

March 8th 2011: I have been organizing a group of hunters to pheasant hunt in South Dakota since 1997. We have hunted with several different outfitters over the years, all of which had good hunting and accomodations. But, having said that, we were looking for something even nicer. For our 2010 hunt we gave Dakota Ringneck a try, and let me tell you, our group of 14 hunters were very impressed with them. Great hunting,super hosts in Ken and Ellen Hansen and their family, fabulous modern lodge, and first class meals that will knock your socks off. All 14 of my hunters were so impressed that all 14 rebooked for the 2011 hunt before we even left the lodge in 2010, and when we all got home and told our buddies how great it was, we added 10 more hunters for a total of 24 hunters. How's that for a vote of confidence in Dakota Ringneck? Looking forward to our 2011 hunt with Dakota Ringneck. Greg greg

April 20th 2011: It's great to see that you added a comment page to your website. That would have been good to have when we were looking to choose a place to go pheasant hunting, but we lucked out and choose your place anyway. Just wanted to let you know how much we and our guests enjoyed our stay with you this last year. Your staff was phenomenal and the food was fantastic. I've been to many hunting lodges and yours ranks among the top, from the hunting to the hospitalty. The natural habitat for the birds that you provide for hunting conditions is the best we have ever hunted on. Fabulous!!!! The homemade ice cream put you over the top.
